PixelPlay is a modern music player for Android. PixelPlay allows you to listen to your favorite songs directly from your device's storage, eliminating the need for an internet connection or streaming services. The app automatically scans for audio files on your device, including formats such as MP3, FLAC, AAC and others, allowing you to organize, search and play by album, artist or song.

Modern interface adapted to the Pixel

PixelPlay is developed with Jetpack Compose and Material 3 Expressive, offering an attractive, intuitive and fully responsive visual environment. You can choose between light and dark mode, as well as dynamic color schemes that integrate with the style of your Android device. Beyond aesthetics, PixelPlay allows you to listen to music even while the app is minimized. You can also control the app from the home screen using the widget.

AI integration and intelligent functions

PixelPlay stands out for its integration with Gemini to provide AI-powered features, taking your playback experience and organization to the next level. You can access smart recommendations, create playlists based on genres and types of music and explore new ways to interact with your music. You have a built-in tag editor at your disposal that allows you to modify information like the title, artist and album for each track. To leverage AI functions, you have to add a Gemini API key that you can obtain as a developer on the Gemini AI page.

Other player functions

Like any music player, PixelPlay has features to help you enjoy your music. The player features a floating notification with the song you are listening to, where you can pause it or skip to the next one. You can also search content within your library. If you are unable to find something you recently added, you can force a rescan of your device to make it appear.
