Dear Plato subscribers,
After a great deal of reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to sunset the community on December 19, 2025. We know this news may be disappointing or inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any impact it has on you or your team.
Why sunset Plato?
As many of you know, Plato was acquired by Coda in 2024, and earlier this year, Coda joined Grammarly. Most recently, Grammarly rebranded as Superhuman, setting the stage for the launch of a new AI-native productivity suite. With this evolution, we’re charting a new course as a company—one that aims to empower a wide range of professionals, including engineering leaders. While this shift means we’re winding down the specific mentorship and leadership programs that align with Plato’s original mission, we remain deeply committed to helping engineering teams work more effectively and make a greater impact.
We deeply appreciate all our subscribers and community members who joined Plato to better themselves and those around them. And we are incredibly proud of what this community has built together since Plato’s founding in 2018. The connections, the learning, and the generosity shown over the years have been truly special.
Celebrating what we’ve built
Thank you for your willingness to learn and grow together over the last 7 years. We’re grateful for the relationships, mentorship, and moments of learning that happened in this community. Together, we’ve accomplished so much:
A global community of 500+ engineering leaders and 1,000+ mentors
13 Elevate conferences, bringing together over 12,000 engineering leaders
30+ meetups and 40+ webinars on leadership, management, and mentorship
150+ dinners shared with engineering leaders around the world
We appreciate your understanding. And if you’d like to stay connected with our journey at Superhuman, you’re welcome to follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, or our website.
With Gratitude,
The Superhuman team
