WHO WE ARE
We are Polyester, a femme-focussed zine and content platform, based in London, UK. We’ve spent ten years making Polyester into a home for all things feminine and (not so) frivolous, adding validity to the internet discourse that deserves actual analysis. Our output has prioritised legitimising a feminine point of view, and Polyester has become an all encompassing-beast.
Via our Dollhouse platform, we release weekly digital content and podcasts, offer multiple print zines per year, and throw regular events. But in this big mix, we’ve been missing an integral part of life on and offline: the boys*
*mascs, non-binary hotties and more.

WHAT IS A NON THREATENING BOY*?
We copped the name from Lisa Simpson’s mag of the same name, only we’ve popped a little asterisk on the end – to signify that we aren’t defining “boy” by any kind of traditional means. A boy, in this context, is any masc, man, butch or fella - cis, trans or non-binary - who approaches the world with a masculine point of view.
As for the non threatening part, that’s open to interpretation! But we back anyone you’ll find in our new imprint as decidedly sound, interesting and having fun with masculinity in a way that appeals to our sensibilities as a femme-focused publication.
