K.2. Basic Server Requirements and Configuration
To provide high performance for 1C solutions, the Postgres Pro server must have at least the following hardware characteristics:
8 - 512 GB of RAM
4 - 256 CPU cores
RAID 0-1 or SSD
The exact recommended characteristics depend on your system's specifics and the load on it.
It is recommended to configure the Postgres Pro server as follows:
Disable the hyper-threading technology.
Disable energy saving. Otherwise, delays of database responses may increase unpredictably.
Disable swapping for POSIX/System V shared memory.
