    WordPress Origin Story

    I had a personal website. I tried everything from: a hard coded website, to dynamically driven with PHP, to several open source content management systems. I came across WordPress under the “bloging platform” category. The screenshots of the administrative UI looked simple and immediately intrigued me. I migrated my website into WordPress and was genuinely happy with how smooth the process was. It was incredibly simple to create a WordPress theme. The developer resources are very detailed. WordPress continues to hold my interest as a website developer due to the ease-of-use and flexibility from API’s to GUI’s.
