Somehow Connect rendered the entire thing clearly in it’s length. My only complaint was that my touching it, Connect decided I wanted to examine the whole thing at once, which was a mild annoyance because I was already 80% of the way down on the thing. From my understanding, the military officers and personnel involved would have to disregard the order, then be arrested and court marshaled to determine if they did in fact disobey a legal order. The depressing part is someone out there will always step up.

Schneegans is pretty well respected. An answer fully used in combination with Ventoy gives you quite the professional install, repeatable on hundreds of machines.

Conservation land is a protected wild area. Sometimes it’s what we refer to as “the woods,” and not properly marked from a local standpoint.
In my region, there are many county and state (vs federal in US) parks, with recreational areas and rules about how to interact with the wildlife. Greatparks.org.

There are also smaller conversation areas. I know of a little bog about the size of a football field with a little sign saying it is maintained by the local college.

Snaps are the default packages, which is not completely FOSS. I use Fedora now, and flatpack is a similar tool, but it is less bloated, FOSS, decentralized, sandboxed by default, and asks you too update packages instead of automatically doing so. Debian is upstream of Ubuntu and a bit more simple. Mint is downstream and includes many of the QOL fixes in Ubuntu without the above grievances.
