Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you are here. I’m Sarah Levin, an advocate for Jewish justice and indigenous Middle Eastern communities, San Francisco-based boy mom, and amateur naturalist.
This publication is a reflection of both my public work and a peek into my personal life and the questions that keep me forever learning. As the founding director of JIMENA: Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa, and AIMEE: Advocates for Inclusive Middle Eastern Education, I’m committed to educating and advocating for the heritage, history, renewal, and rights of indigenous Middle Eastern peoples.
This is a space for rootedness and clarity for those seeking grounded insights, honest reflection, insider Sephardic briefings, and a deeper understanding of Indigenous Jewish life and justice.
