smartmontools contains utility programs (smartctl, smartd) to control/monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S.M.A.R.T.) built into most modern ATA and SCSI disks. It is derived from smartsuite.

LKL is a userspace keylogger that runs under Linux on the x86 arch. LKL logs everything that passes through the hardware keyboard port (0x60). It translates keycodes to ASCII with a keymap file.

mergelog is a small C program which merges by date HTTP log files in 'Common Log Format' from Web servers behind round-robin DNS. It can easily process huge log files and is much faster than multisort.
