These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stridge’s websites, developer tools, dashboards, and APIs (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
The Services
Stridge provides payment technology infrastructure — APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and related tooling — that businesses use to build payment experiences.
Regulated payment, money-transmission, custody, and other financial services are provided by licensed partners under their own terms. Stridge is not a bank, money transmitter, exchange, or financial institution, and does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including sanctions and export-control laws.
Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under them.
- Keep credentials and keys confidential and secure.
- Restrict key permissions to what your integration requires.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any suspected unauthorised use.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security of the Services.
- Use the Services in connection with prohibited, high-risk, or sanctioned activities.
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act on behalf of others.
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
Compliance, AML, and sanctions
You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your use of the Services, including anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, and sanctions requirements. Stridge and its partners may perform screening and may suspend or restrict access where necessary to meet compliance obligations.
Fees
Any fees for the Services are as set out in an order form, plan, or partner agreement. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of taxes, which are your responsibility.
Intellectual property
Stridge and its licensors own the Services, including all software, documentation, and trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services as permitted by these Terms. If you send us feedback, you grant us a licence to use it without restriction.
Third-party services and partners
The Services may integrate with third-party services and licensed partners that are governed by their own terms. Stridge is not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Digital assets and blockchain networks carry inherent risks, including volatility and irreversibility, which you accept when using the Services.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stridge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid to Stridge for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Stridge harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Services or comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stridge is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
