We're updating our terminology in Jira

'Issue' is changing to 'work item'. You might notice some inconsistencies while this big change takes place.

Add fields to cards on your board

You can add up to three additional fields to display on cards on your board. 

You must be a Jira admin, project admin or board admin to add colors to cards.

  1. From your board select More actions (), then Configure board.

  2. Select Card layout in the settings menu.

  3. Select Add field.

  4. From the dropdown, select the field you want to display.

  5. Select Save.

You can enable Days in column to visually indicate how long a work item has been in a column. This helps identify slow-moving work.
