T.E.A. F.A.R.M.E.R.S. Is a Black woman owned business that centres around the idea of reimagining what it means to be a farmer so we can all see ourselves within it. We believe our approach to gardening and interacting with the land moves us back towards balance with the environment, where our gardens provide moments of repose for the Earth in the face of our ever-changing climate rather than further contributing to depletion and damage. And through our work, we help guide you in creating your own ‘F.A.R.M.E.R.S. mindset’. This mindset invites you to view your garden as more than something to extract from, but rather something you can partner with and connect to… We invite you to form a living, breathing, reciprocal relationship with your garden! And we don’t believe you need a huge swath of land at your disposal to do just that.

As a Black woman, one of my fundamental beliefs is that we all have a right to safe, whole and nourishing food. And I believe that so often, accessing that right is intentionally made difficult by those who choose to oppress, and take advantage of others. F.A.R.M.E.R.S. pushes back on this reality and encourages us to imagine a better future.
