Due to my lifelong obsession with the internet, film, pop culture, and how people work, The Exposition is where these interests diverge into a collection of unhinged articles, essays, analyses about the Millennial experience.

The Exposition

The Exposition is your analogue answer to life’s digital problems. It is a semi-regular newsletter and blog that covers media and pop culture discourse. I started The Exposition in 2023 with the sole purpose of re-introducing myself to my love of writing (I am a bonafide ex-LiveJournal / Blogger kid and ‘Zine writer who got sidetracked).

Here you’ll also find occasional reviews, hot takes, pop culture chit chat, indulgent editorials, the odd lifestyle post, amateur film analysis, and random musings on mental health.

I work as a marketing copywriter and content designer by day, but try my hand at screenwriting, questionable drawing, and storytelling by night. I am a former media student and I am currently studying a Master’s in Psychology.

I have a penchant for sci-fi novels and spooky podcasts. I love animals and I am obsessed with food. I have been an aerialist for almost 8 years. I’ve spent a good chunk of my career writing for fashion, travel, and lifestyle brands. My specialist skill is knowing pointless trivia gleaned from many years of watching MTV and reading Smash Hits. Weird stuff also happens to me a lot.
