Hello! My name is Jen and I’m a gardener and multidisciplinary artist living in Portland, Oregon.

Descended from a long line of flower enthusiasts—including my great-great grandfather who was a horticulturalist and flower farmer—I’ve always dreamt of having a garden of my own. Today I live in a tiny white house—with my husband and two cats—on a 5000 sq ft urban plot filled with flowers.

I decided to start a Substack as a sort of garden journal, and to talk about and (sometimes) illustrate my love for gardening and all things floral. I hope to connect with a community of like-minded flower people!
