Hello, I’m glad you’re here.

For a long time, I lived in my head. Focused on what was logical, practical, sensible while quietly longing for something more.

I thought it was simply about making. Blobbing paint onto paper, inventing wordy worlds. And wanting my creations to be seen, to revel in applause.

Then something shifted. Not suddenly, but mark by mark, sentence by sentence, step by step. I began to feel my way forward, discovering my own texture and edges. And I kept noticing that the things that fell from my fingers knew more about me than I did.

I wasn’t just making things, they were making me.

So I began to play.

To let silliness sit alongside seriousness.

To notice the half-tangled knots that sit beside glimmers of aliveness.

And to find creativity in everyday moments, like painting jam on toast.

I realised creativity wasn’t just about making. It’s a way of living.

I believe this is life as art: approaching the ordinary as creative medium. The process: a living practice of creative awareness that makes and remakes who we are. This happens gently, imperfectly, sometimes joyfully, sometimes reluctantly, in the space within. A place for half-formed thoughts, colour, questions, and experiments.

If you recognise something here, the unravelling and the re-weaving, the quiet courage of beginning again and again, you’re in good company.
