Welcome! Iām so happy that youāre here.
Iām Amanda, and through my work I explore how stories ā the ones we tell ourselves and the ones we create ā can heal us and help us live with more consciousness, compassion, and authenticity.
What Youāll Find Here
I share stories about mindful writing practice, collective and personal consciousness evolution, and finding ways to live truthfully, freely and kindly in this beautiful, hard world. My work weaves together stories from my life, wisdom from ancient wisdom traditions, insights from mindfulness mentoring and Reiki, and guidance for writers seeking more meaning in their craft and life.
Through what I share, youāll discover:
A deeper connection to your authentic self and creative voice
Tools for compassionate storytelling ā both on the page and in your life
Practices for navigating profound shifts with presence and grace
Insights into how our stories shape our reality
Community with others committed to consciousness and craft
Ways to bring more peace and compassion into your writing and world
What I Believe
Our stories can heal us. I know this because changing the story I told myself about who I was literally changed my reality. After decades of family dysfunction and abuse, I rewrote my life by refusing to stay trapped in someone elseās narrative about me.
And if our individual stories have the power to heal us, imagine what our collective stories could do for the world.
Thatās what draws me to this work ā the possibility that authentic storytelling, rooted in consciousness and compassion, can bring more peace and connection to a world that desperately needs it.
The posts I share about my journey with mindful living and writing, and how we can use mindfulness and ancient wisdoms to transform storytelling, are free.

About me
Iām a writer, publisher, and teacher from the UK who moves around a lot (currently in Scotland). Iāve written two novels and a novella-in-flash, founded a creative community and award-winning indie publishing house, then a literary journal, and Iāve been working with writers through my courses, workshops, and editorial services since 2012.
Iāve been practicing mindfulness for many years now, and it transformed everythingāmy life, my writing, my teaching. Iām a certified mindfulness mentor, meditation teacher, womenās empowerment coach, therapeutic journaling guide, and a Reiki practitioner. I also study metaphysics, practice yoga and qigong, and read a chapter of the Tao Te Ching every day.
But more than any of these credentials, hereās what matters: Iām living the transformation I write about. Iām figuring it out as I go. Iām much less afraid than I used to be, my compassion for myself and others is growing, and Iāve come to terms with deep grief after losing 18 friends and family members in the past decade.
The work is working. And Iām sharing the journey with you as it unfolds.
