About this space.

I didn't come here to teach. Or preach. Or sell you a ten-step plan to fix your life.

I came here because there are words that won’t leave me alone. Because the ache doesn’t end just because the story gets told. Because I believe remembering is a sacred act.

This Substack isn’t a newsletter. It’s a field. A fire. A breath drawn between timelines.

I write for the ones still carrying too much. For those who know grief is a teacher, but don’t want to bow to it anymore. For the ones who have walked through heartbreak with open palms and still choose love anyway.

My name is Alex Blumberch. I live off-grid in rural Bulgaria, with too many dogs and not enough certainty. I write books that aren’t easy to categorize. Memoir, yes — but with spirit. Poetry, sometimes. Quantum remembering, always.

I call the series The Thread — and it’s less about what happens, and more about what hums beneath what happens.

What you'll find here:

  • Unpolished excerpts from my books

  • Reflections on off-grid living and emotional survival

  • Quantum field notes (think: dreams, memories, timelines, strange truths)

  • Voiceovers, reels, and sacred scraps

  • And occasional whispers meant just for you

Why subscribe? Because something stirred when you read that last line. Because you miss someone you still dream about. Because you want to walk a little closer to what’s real.

This space is free. For everyone who needs it. But if you want to support me, you can. I’m building something that doesn’t have a name yet. A book. A place. A home.

You’re welcome here. Not because you’re whole. But because you remember.

— Alex
