Worst place to buy from I don’t recommend had a faulty computer sent to me, seller did everything they could to NOT communicate back with me so I had to go through onbuy who made me video me packaging it, send postage etc I did all that they claimed they refunded then they only sent it to the finance team then they haven’t it’s all so confusing but clearpay informed me they have not infact even processed any refund an informed me onbuy are lying so now I’m money down and also a item down and on buy and the seller get to keep £ so now it’s all with action fraud and this is my reference number for them: RF25120044201C as I have a police reference as I’m so tired and exhausted this was a gift at Christmas which was ruined and now I’m hundreds in pounds down so I’m going through the police and fraud team. When I get a confirmation of refund such as email or any kind of proof this review will then be removed but as I keep getting told it’s not done yet, yes it’s done it’s processed, it’s not initiated yet I’m so tired of lying agents. I can only imagine there reviews are fake as they respond instantly to positive feedback Unfortunately I got sent a email but stating it’s not even refunded yet we are just going around in circles and no resolution I been scammed by onbuy As of 31st of December - one email one buy did saying we have not processed a refund only sent it to the finance department. When do you intend on returning or even attempting a refund? It’s fraud what you are doing now and I’m at my wits end with it clearpay said they will happily open a dispute as I have email proof they confirmed they “did a refund” but it’s not the point why do OnBuy agents lie no refund has ever been made and no confirmation has ever come through and who is this finance department it’s now 1st January and I can confirm they lied about a refund it’s not been processing it’s not even initiated they keep lying = FRAUD - everytime they email me they have different excuses it isn’t hard to REFUND and send me email confirmation of the refund but they refuse and ignore every email as they lied about sending a refund and some finance department which seems like a scam order number ORDER NO. T6BK5YZ till there is a automated confirmation on a email saying refund you have NOT done it

I’ll start by saying that the staff have been very helpful throughout and everything was very smooth getting started. We have no gas at home and we chose to have solar panels installed by Ovo so we could make use of the exclusive SEG rates and switched to Ovo at that point in October 25 so we could also use their Heat Pump Plus tariff for discounted electric to heat the house plus 7p Charge Anytime for EV charging. We were really pleased to join Ovo as there were so many benefits and that’s where it went completely downhill. We hadn’t even fully switched by the time they doubled the energy price for Charge Anytime. We stayed with the switch despite this as the Heat Pump Plus tariff still made sense for us, however as of December 25, they’re ending support for this tariff so by the end of January 26 we’ll be on a standard rate tariff and the cost to heat the house we double for the rest of winter. All the emails and website FAQs say they’re doubling down on green tariff support but this does not reflect reality as they’ve removed all the ‘type of use’ tariffs Heat Pump plus, Battery boost, doubled EV Charge Anytime and they didn’t even bother to sort alternative tariffs based on ‘time of use’ like most of their competitors. Call centre staff have been left without timelines, solutions, or compensation options, leaving us no choice but to exit early and switch supplier. The call centre staff actually opened a complaint for us, but there was nothing they could do for us to resolve it so it was promptly closed shortly after opening with no action. Whilst the T&Cs allow tariffs to change, removing them this quickly and without viable alternatives undermines trust. Based on our experience, OVO’s green tariff promises do not align with their actions and we feel misled.
