Why subscribe?

Climate change manifests in strange, annoying, frustrating, and sometimes dangerous ways in our everyday life, and we don’t often get a chance to process all the ways the world is warping around us. This is a place to do that.

If you subscribe, you’ll get a once-a-week story/newsletter of sorts from me, Colin Daileda, a journalist in Bangalore who has spent the last six-plus years writing about climate change and environmental degradation for Atlas Obscura, The Baffler, Longreads, and many others. This newsletter will often be less journalism-y and more about what it’s like to live in a world that becomes less recognizable every year. Hopefully, as you read along, you’ll recognize a bit of your own experience.

Hi, folks. This is a newsletter about the strangeness of climate change in everyday life. It feels a bit odd to say "hope you enjoy," but I do hope you enjoy, ha.
