Engin YILMAZ

Economist, Researcher, and Associate Professor -Economics.

I’m Engin Yılmaz.

I’m a researcher who has spent the past decade exploring how money is created, how the Fed operates, and how modern monetary and blockchain systems really work. Over the years, I’ve focused on the intersection of money, fiscal policy, and the broader economy—and this space is where I share what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and the questions that keep me curious.

The name “VeriDelisi” comes from Turkish and roughly means “data-obsessed.”
It reflects how I approach economics: digging into data, institutional details, and real-world mechanisms to understand how the monetary system actually works beyond simplified narratives.
