What is the Mina Foundation?
Mina Foundation, a Switzerland-based nonprofit foundation (Stiftung), champions a future powered by participants via accessible, secure, and decentralized blockchain infrastructure that will underpin our future online interactions. Following a recent change, the Foundation has scaled down and is now focused on accelerating the creation and adoption of a decentralized treasury.

What is the Mina Protocol?
Mina Protocol is the blockchain for the private, provable web, solving the erosion of trust on the internet with zero-knowledge proofs. Its unique 'proof of everything' provides a decentralized proof layer, enabling users to verify data and interactions, ensuring trust and privacy without third-party platforms. Mina's lightweight design enables it to run directly in a browser, ensuring user data never leaves their device while supporting privacy-preserving applications.
Platform of proofs
Mina enables an open, permissionless platform for creating and using proofs of data and computation. The resulting proofs can be easily verified and shared, unlocking efficiency and trust at scale.
Peer-to-peer decentralization
Mina's blockchain state is easily verified using zero-knowledge proofs, allowing efficient full nodes to run on any device for strong censorship resistance. It is secured by proof-of-stake and the MINA token.
