L.D.College of Engineering, Ahmedabad: Applied Mechanics Department

This document outlines the tutorials for a structural design project course. It includes: 1. Having students list codes for different structural types and structural forms with sketches. Students also list specifications for flexural and column/frame members from IS-13920 codes. 2. Having students analyze and design structures like a multi-story building, industrial shed, and bridge manually and using software. Structural drawings must be prepared in AutoCAD. 3. Arranging site visits for students to study real projects based on their group, then prepare a report with site details, drawings if available, photos, and important design/construction aspects.
