SKF Process

This document provides instructions for creating a statistical key figure in SAP. It describes selecting a statistical key figure transaction code, entering master data such as a name and unit of measure for the new key figure, and saving it. Statistical key figures represent measurable values like square footage that can be used for cost allocation. The example creates a key figure for tracking the square footage of buildings for a school board to potentially use in monthly billing allocations.

Create Statistical Figure 05/18/07 KK01

Purpose
Use this procedure to create a statistical key figure (SKF), for example, the square footage for
SBBCs buildings. This statistical key figure could be used later as a basis of cost allocations
(assessment cycles in SAP).
Trigger
Perform this procedure when you have determined that a new unit of billing must be created.
Prerequisites
None.
Menu Path
Use the following menu path(s) to begin this transaction:
Select SAP menu Accounting Controlling Cost Center Accounting Master
