Sandy Rowland Retires
After 22 years at the Westfield
Washington Public Library, our
Assistant Director Sandy Rowland
retired at the beginning of February.
We would like to thank
her for all of her hard
work here and in the
community.
We hope she enjoys
spending her time off
with her husband and
the rest of her family!

Chess Class with Aaron Dean and
the Learning Through Games Group
Fundamentals of Acting
presented by Milestone Talent Group
Do your children like chess or wish to learn?
This is the class for them. Good for all levels
and great for the mind. Chess helps kids
with team work, decision making and logic.
A must do for every actor! The following is
covered in this four-week class: Basic
elements of acting, stage terms, stage
direction, teamwork, theatre games, history/
character work, fourth wall and more!

Chapter of the Alzheimers Association
will be here on Wednesday, March 4 at
1 p.m. to speak about Healthy Habits
for a Healthier You. This program talks
about healthy aging and reviews some
aspects of our lives that may have an
impact on our risk for Alzheimer's
disease or a related dementia. This
program will last around 45 minutes and
its open to the general public.

The Friends of the Westfield
Library is an organization
designed to promote and
support the mission of the
Westfield Washington Public
Library. Through its
fundraising efforts, primarily
book sales held in the library
and online, the group raises
money used to fund library
programs and to purchase

library's operating budget.
