is seen deeply engrossed in her mobile.

JOHN
Scarlet can you keep your phone aside for some time?
JOHN, a man in his mid 40, is SCARLETS father. He is
quite handsome.
SCARLET
What dad? Im just messaging my friends.
JOHN
Like I dont know? Well, see honey, you have got a new
school now. You gotta make friends there now.
SCARLET switches off her mobile screen and stares out of
the cars window on her right side thinking something
deeply.
The cars pulls by Ridgeview Charter High school.
SCARLET gets out of the car and walks up to the main gate.
The camera swings up and we see the name of the school.
SCARLET (V.O)
So here it is. Ridgeview Charter high school. Till
yesterday I studied in a school which only had girls.
Yeah, no boys at all. I know its kinda weird but that was
the type my hometown is.
SCARLET starts to walk.
B.G Music Empty Nesters (Chorus)
SCALRET sees some people sitting on the college stairs and
waves her hand to say hi but they look away like nothing
happened.

SCARLET continues walking and spots a group of five

wearing a same color outfit. SCARLET ignores them and
keeps walking till she sees a boy and a girl standing

beside a tree. On seeing SCARLET, the boy says something

to the girl.
SCARLET
(waving her hand)
Hey!!
FELIX
Hey there.
FELIX, 17 is clearly a muscle devoted guy which can be
seen in his athletic stature. He has black hair and looks
like most other boys.
EVELYN, 17 is an emo type girl. She has purple hair but
looks cute altogether.
SCARLET
Im Scarlet, nice to meet you two.
SCARLET offers a handshake which FELIX generously accept.
But the girl starts staring at Scarlets hand
FELIX
Shes Evelyn. She is not so social I hope you dont mind.
SCARLET
No not at all.
FELIX signals EVELYN to say something.
EVELYN
What do you want?
SCARLET
(shocked)
Um nothing or maybe. Yes I want to be friends.
EVELYN
(laughs sarcastically)
Friends?
SCARLET
Yeah, anything wrong in that?
FELIX
No but are you sure you want to make friends on your first
day here? I mean this place aint that friendly?

SCARLET
Whys that?
School bell rings.
FELIX
Time to go. So whats your first class Scarlet?
SCARLET takes out a computerized page from her bag, reads
it.
SCARLET
Calculus. Its Calculus.
FELIX
Great ours calculus too. Come with us we will show you
around the school as well.
The three of them start walking. We see the usual type of
groups, nerds; athletes and the somewhere in between
groups.
SCARLET sees the group with everyone wearing the same
dress and stares at them while FELIX tells about the
library, classes and gyms.
FELIX becomes aware of SCARLETS interest in that group.
FELIX
Well that is the La Camarilla. They in a sense rule the
school.
EVELYN
Yeah, we are debating whether to change the school name to
La Camarilla high school.
SCARLET
Whys that?
FELIX
Youll know.
SCARLET
Wont we be late for the class?
FELIX
The class only starts when La Camarilla will get in the
class and right now they are in front of us.

An advice, at all cost avoid them. If they say days

night, so be it.
SCARLET nods.
SCARLET
(V.O)
For me they looked quite harmless. You know people that
are all about condescending attitude and nice apparel, are
usually sort of dumb.
EVELYN
Now shall we go to the class?
The three again start to walk.
CUT TO:
INT. CALCULUS CLASS.
We see SCARLET sitting in the third row beside EVELYN and
FELIX.
LA CAMARILLA walks into the class.
VIOLET
(To a girl sitting on the front seat)
How dare you sit on our seat?
The girl looks up with childlike innocence.
VIOLET
You dont understand? Get lost now.
The girl leaves the seat in a hurry. But as she starts to
go she is stopped by ALICE.
ALICE
Youll let her go Violet? You can but I wont.
VIOLET
No I wont. Hey you! Here clean my shoes.
The girl in tears looks around the class. Half of the
students are laughing while the other are in awe.
VIOLET
Are you deaf? I said something.

The girl leans down but is caught by her hand by SCARLET.

VIOLET
Wait... what? Who the hell are you now?
SCARLET
A girl like her.
VIOLET
Oh, so you want to clean my shoes.
SCARLET
No but I will allow you to clean my shoes even though it
will be a disrespect to them.
The class roars in laughter.
VIOLET charges toward SCARLET but is caught from behind by
DECAN.
ALICE
Oh youll pay for this girl.
SCARLET
Yeah, well watch who will pay.
ALICE starts to walk away. VIOLETS shrugs of DECAN after
he is assured VIOLET has calm down.
VIOLET and SCARLET exchange some looks.
CAMARILLA walks out of the class.

And the whole LA

The whole class cheers SCARLET.

SCARLET
Go sit wherever you want now.
GIRL
Thank you so much, Im Kelly by the way.
SCARLET
Scarlet.
SCARLET goes back to her seat.
EVELYN
So you think you made yourself a hero out there? What part
of avoid la camarilla at all cost did you understand?

SCARLET looks at EVELYN

EVELYN
Dont look at me like that. What do you think they will
leave you like this? No they wont. And these people who
are cheering you now, these are fair weather friends. They
will be nowhere to be seen when they come for you.
SCARLET tries to speak but a clerks entry in class stops
her.
CLERK
Miss Scarlet Smith?
SCARLET
(raises her hand)
Here!
CLERK
The Dean has called you in his office right now.
EVELYN sinks her head in her hand while FELIX also lets
out a sigh.
Quite unmoved SCARLET gets up and follows the clerk out of
the classroom.
SCARLET goes through the hallway and sees VIOLET talking
to a man. On seeing SCARLET, VIOLET points towards her.
SCARLET arrives at the DEANS office.
CLERK
The dean will be here any minute. Go sit inside.
SCARLET goes inside and takes a seat.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLWAY, AFTER THE FIRST PERIOD.
EVELYN and FELIX are walking with JACK.
JACK
She really said that to her face? Oh man! Now I know why
my father always said to take the calculus class.

Yeah she did.
EVELYN
For the first and the final time. There is a possibility
that we wont even see her anymore after today.
FELIX
I hope not. She reminds me of someone. This first day,
first show concept.
EVELYN
I thought we made this clear; no one will ever talk about
that person.
FELIX
I was just saying.
EVELYN
Just dont.
The three of them go inside the gym.
CUT TO:
INT. DEANS OFFICE
SCARLET is still sitting there. Suddenly the dean appears.
SCARLET stands but the Dean signals her to keep seating.
DEAN
So Scarlet Smith, first day in the college, I havent even
introduced you to your classmates and you ended up in my
office. This is a rare achievement.
SCARLET
But I didnt do anything wrong.
DEAN
Who said you did?
DEAN takes a file and leans back into his chair.
DEAN

You know what this is? Its your file. What do we have
here? No scholarship, A+ in every subject you ever took
till now and you are here on transfer basis.
SCARLET
What now? Wait let me guess, Violets father is the
biggest funder of the school or he is the owner of the
school, am I right?
DEAN
No, Im her father.
SCARLET
So youre either gonna suspend me or you are going to
expel me?
DEAN
No I cant. I dont have any strong basis for that. But
dont be overjoyed it doesnt means I cant make one.
SCARLET
Sir but she was
DEAN
Enough miss Smith. I hope you will, from now on mind your
own business. And stay away from the La Camarilla
otherwise...
SCARLET
Otherwise?
DEAN
You may leave now.
SCARLET is annoyed, she picks up her bag and leaves.
DEAN goes through the file once more.
DEAN
They are so alike.
CUT TO:
EXT. STAIRWAY, OUT OF THE SCHOOLS BUILDING (AFTER THE
SCHOOLS OVER)
SCARLET is sitting on the stairs with her head in her
knees.

EVELYN and FELIX are coming out of the building. EVELYN

stops FELIX by her hand and points towards SCARLET.
EVELYN
You stay here, I will talk to her.
FELIX
As you say.
EVELYN sits beside SCARLET who lifts her head, sees EVELYN
who smiles but sinks her head again.
EVELYN
So, what happened?
SCARLET
Nothing expect from the fact that I ended up in the deans
office in the first period of the first day at my new
school and to be the icing on the cake, Im already in the
bad graces of the schools ruling clique.
EVELYN
Well it could have been worse.
SCARLET
How?
EVELYN
At least youre still in school.
SCARLET
Yes, on borrowed time.
There is a loud scream of a boy. EVELYN and SCARLET rush
towards the other side of the street with FELIX following.
LA CAMARILLA, drunk, is seen humiliating JACQUES.
JACQUES, 15, is a computer geek with round spectacles. His
appearance certifies his geek behavior.
SCARLET, takes a step forward but stops.
EVELYN
You wont do anything this time?
SCARLET

No. I shouldnt have done anything in the first place as

well.
FELIX
What? Wheres your fire Scarlet?
LA CAMARILLA spots SCARLET.
ALICE
Hey! Theres that new girl.
VIOLET
What a timing, lets teach her a lesson.
DECLAN
With pleasure.
LA CAMARILLA walks up to SCARLET. DECLAN snatches
SCARLETS Bag and throws it away.
ALICE
Oh I have an idea. Why not make her do the same thing she
stopped us from doing earlier today?
VIOLET
Good idea, Declan!
DECLAN supposedly goes to force SCARLET to clean VIOLETS
shoes but abruptly stops on seeing a boy across the street
holding a jacket over his shoulder.
On seeing DECLAN stop other members of LA CAMARILLA also
look at the boy.
VIOLET
Any other time, guys. Lets go.
LA CAMARILLA goes away. SCARLET turns and looks at the
boy. But he starts to walk away as well.
SCARLET
(while FELIX hands over her bag)
Who was he?
FELIX
Oh, he is
EVELYN
Hes nobody.

SCARLET
So youre a telling me that a nobody did that to La
Camarilla? What are you both hiding?
FELIX
I know you will kill me after this but still I think we
can tell her everything.
EVELYN
After what La Camarilla was going to do with her, we cant
leave her alone so I will have to agree with you.
FELIX
Now were talking.
EVELYN
Felix, call Jack tell him to meet me at the warehouse.
Scarlet, here come with me and call your father and tell
him youre going to be a little late today.
SCARLET
Okay.
CUT TO:
INT. WAREHOUSE BEHIND THE SCHOOL.
The warehouse does not looks like a warehouse. Its a
well organized and cleaned room. It seemed to be someones
favorite hangout.
SCARLET
So you hangout here?
EVELYN
Used to like months ago.
SCARLET
But this place is so clean it looks like someone comes
here every day.
JACK
Because Evelyn cleans it everyday.
FELIX and JACK arrived while EVELYN and SCARLET were
talking.
SCARLET

Then this must be a very very special place.

EVELYN
It is. Call it a souvenir.
SCARLET
Souvenir of what?
FELIX
Our good time and La Camarillas worst time.
JACK
We brought La Camarilla to their knees. I really miss that
guy.
SCARLET
Take it easy guys. Im still trying to connect the dots.
EVELYN
That guy you saw across the street, his name is Oscar. And
mark my word that guy does deserve an Oscar. I still
remember the day he walked in this school for the first
time.
FLASHBACK TO:
SCHOOLS MAIN GATE, FEW MONTHS AGO
We see OSCAR coming from the main gate with a bag. He is
wearing a brown leather jacket and blue jeans.
Few seconds later we see La Camarilla bullying EVELYN for
being an emo.
OSCAR walks up to them.
OSCAR
Whats going on here?
DECLAN
Its none of your business. Get lost.
OSCAR
Would love too. But Im taking her with me.
OSCAR grabs EVELYN by arm and starts to walk away with
her.

DECLAN looks around and sees people laughing at him.

Infuriated he decides to hit OSCAR from behind.
DELCAN goes toward OSCAR, but FELIX jumps in between right
in time to stop DECLAN. OSCAR turns behind and realizes
what happened.
OSCAR
Silly me. How can I forget about this cowardice act? At
last you should be a role model for cowards.
DECLAN
You think so? Ill teach you a lesson. Today after school
in the gym Ill beat the crap out of you.
OSCAR
Just dont cry after that.
DECLAN
Enough talk, I know you wont even show up.
OSCAR ignores and walks toward the school building with
EVELYN. FELIX joins as well.
OSCAR
Thanks for watching my back.
FELIX
With pleasure.
OSCAR
Im Oscar.
FELIX
Names Felix.
EVELYN
Well I shall tell you both my name too. My name is Evelyn.
OSCAR and FELIX both smile.
OSCAR
Ill call you Eve.
EVELYN
As you wish.

INT. SCHOOLS GYM, AFTER SCHOOL.
OSCAR walks in the gym where a huge crowd has gathered, he
has popcorn in his hands.
DECLAN
Keep the popcorn aside.
OSCAR
Why? I didnt come here to fight.
DECLAN
I know you were afraid of me. Who will fight then?
OSCAR
You!
DECLAN
Against?
OSCAR
you!
DECLAN
You Punk.
DECLAN charges towards OSCAR but swings wildly. DECLAN
tries to hit OSCAR but misses every time as OSCAR dodges.
He tries to hit OSCAR with his head but OSCAR dodges again
and DECLAN hits a pillar, knocking him out.
OSCAR
That wasnt my mistake. So now everyone enjoy your life
here. They wont bug you anymore.
FELIX
Correction Oscar, they cant bug you anymore.
OSCAR goes away.
FLASHBACK ENDS

EVELYN and SCARLET are now sitting on a couch. FELIX hands

them coffee.
SCARLET
He beat Declan without even breaking a sweat! Now its
understandable why he fears him so much.
EVELYN
Yeah he was like that. After that day La Camarilla was
completely gone. Nobody knew what happened to them.
FELIX
You can still ask anyone about Oscar. They treated him
like a hero.
SCARLET
What about the dean? He didnt do anything?
EVELYN
No.
SCARLET
Whys that?
FELIX
Because of Mr. Martinez. He is the physics teacher here.
EVELYN
Yup, Mr. Martinez is appointed by board of directors and
Oscar was his favorite student. Dean doesnt dare to mess
with him.
SCARLET
If everything was in your favor then what happened?
EVELYN
One day we all were in the cafeteria goofing around
FLASHBACK TO:
Int. CAFETERIA, FEW MONTHS AGO
EVELYN, FELIX and OSCAR are sitting and joking with each
other.
JACK rushes into the cafeteria.
JACK
Oscar! Oscar!

OSCAR

They are beating a girl.
OSCAR (gets up from his chair)

JACK
Gym. The gym.
OSCAR dashes out of the cafeteria.
CUT TO:
Int. GYM, FEW MINUTES LATER
LA CAMARILLA has circled around the girl. With one unknown
member sitting on the boxes piled up in the gym.
OSCAR bursts the door open.
UNKNOWN
Ah! Few seconds late otherwise you would have broken an
Olympic record, Oscar.
OSCAR
Oh! I see La Camarilla has another clown in their ranks
now. Anyway who the hell are you?
UNKNOWN
Johnny Vincent.
OSCAR
Great! So Johnny Vincent a.k.a the new clown let the girl
go.
JOHNNY
Relax hero. We will after we get what we want.

What do you want?
JOHNNY
Wait a few minutes. Guys break few bones of this hero.
LA CAMARILLA circles around OSCAR who is unmoved and
smiles instead.
OSCAR
Numbers game. I thought, I taught you a lesson that day
Declan.
DECLAN
Forget the old times, Oscar. Get ready for the beating of
your life.
OSCAR
Still in your dreams.
DECLAN charges towards OSCAR but he counters and sends him
crashing into JOHNNY. ALICE and VIOLET try to hit OSCAR
but EVELYN hits them from behind. FELIX arrives too. The
three of them start fighting with La Camarilla.
Mr. MARTINEZ comes into the gym and separates the two
groups.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Can I know what was going on here?
OSCAR
La camarilla was beating that girl there.
EVELYN rushes to the girl to check is she okay.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Before I lose my temper, La Camarilla get out of here.
Evelyn, take the girl with you and get her some medicine.
Oscar, Felix you both come with me.
LA CAMARILLA leaves while EVELYN takes the girl to the
meds.
CUT TO:
Ext. SCHOOLS PARK
Mr. MARTINEZ, FELIX and OSCAR are talking.

Mr. MARTINEZ
You shouldnt have done that.
OSCAR
What do you mean, sir? You are saying that I should have
let that bunch of idiots beat a girl.
Mr. MARTINEZ
You could have called me.
OSCAR
If I could have, I would have called you sir. But you
never know with these type of people, they are insane.
They are like animals from hell.
FELIX
Whats done is done. The question is what should we do
now?
Mr. MARTINEZ
Go home for now. And yeah take Evelyn and Jack. Oscar,
drop each of them safely to their house.
OSCAR
Lets go.
OSCAR and FELIX leave to go EVELYN. FELIX calls JACK and
asks him to meet at the schools clinic.
CUT TO:
Int. SCHOOL BUILDING, OUTSIDE THE CLINIC.
OSCAR knocks but nobody answers. He shouts EVELYN but
nobody replies.
OSCAR (while opening the door)
Is anybody her.. Shit!
We see EVELYN lying unconscious on the floor.
OSCAR picks her up and puts her on the treatment table.
FELIX rushes to bring some water.
JACK
What happened to her?

Dont know.
OSCAR
Come on wake up Eve.
EVELYN opens her eyes slowly.
OSCAR
who did this? Tell me their name.
EVELYN
La Camarilla.
OSCAR
Enough, they crossed the limits now.
OSCAR tries to leave but he is stopped when EVELYN holds
his hand.
EVELYN
You wont do anything, Oscar.
OSCAR listens but shakes of EVELYN hand and heads towards
the door. But stops at the gate.
OSCAR
Felix, look after her.
OSCAR goes out of the room.
EVELYN
Stop him. Please somebody stop him.
JACK
He cant be stopped now.
FELIX
Let him go, you wouldnt want to cage a wild beast.
CUT TO:
Int. SCHOOL BUILDING, AFTER FEW MINUTES
We see OSCAR asking everyone about LA CAMARILLA
whereabouts. A boy tells OSCAR that La Camarilla is at the
schools parking lot.

Int. Mr. MARTINEZS OFFICE (AT THE SAME TIME)
FELIX, JACK AND EVEYN are telling Mr. Martinez something.
Mr. MARTINEZ
And you let him go?
FELIX
He wouldnt have listened.
Mr. MARTINEZ
No you dont understand it would probably be a trap.
JACK
So Oscar right now is heading into a trap?
EVELYN
Did sir say something else, Jack?
Mr. MARTINEZ
Does anyone know where La Camarilla is?
EVELYN
No!
Mr. MARTINEZ
Then what are you doing here? Go find them and yes dont
get spotted.
CUT TO:
Ext. SCHOOLS PARKING LOT
OSCAR
(shouting)
Where are you all? Come out here you bastards!
JOHNNY
Oscar! Oscar! Oscar! I heard that you were very smart, but
I think now all that was a rumor.
OSCAR
Say what you want, at the end of the day youre not
walking out of here.
JOHNNY
But I have to say you have a bit of an attitude. And I
like that. Wish you were on our side.

Youre going to wish that more after this.
OSCAR picks up a brick lying on the ground and throws it
towards JOHNNY. But JOHNNY dodges it.
JOHHNY
This is the best you can do?
OSCAR tries to hit JOHNNY but before he can, DECLAN hits
him on the head with a metal pipe.
OSCAR falls down on his knees.
DECLAN
This was for insulting me.
DECLAN
(CONTD)
Now this is for humiliating me.
DECLAN tries to hit OSCAR on the head again but his metal
pipe is caught in mid air by FELIX.
FELIX quickly deprives DECLAN of his weapon and punches
him in the face.
FELIX helps OSCAR to his feet.
JOHNNY
I was waiting for you, Felix.
FELIX
What even are you? Why did you beat Evelyn?
JOHNNY
Then how would I have been able to bring you all here?
OSCAR
(shaking his head)
All?
DECLAN
There on the top of the building. Violet please show our
trophies to our guests.
EVELYN and JACK are both pushed towards the end of the
building. DEAN also appears.

JOHNNY
Come on! You started this, right? I am just ending it.
DEAN comes down and holds OSCAR on gunpoint.
FELIX
Are you mad? We are not gangsters, we are students. How
can you kill us?
JOHNNY
Just like this, Violet!
VIOLET
Yeah?
JOHNNY
Please throw those two idiots from the building.
OSCAR
No, wait! You have problems with me, kill me but let them
walk away.
JOHNNY
Aw! Thats my favorite dialog. But you cant play this
hero thing here.
FELIX
Dont be mad, Johnny.
JOHNNY
Mad? Are you kidding me? Im the perfect epitome of
sanity. Dean shoot him now.
Mr. MARTINEZ
No you wont.
Mr. MARTINEZ now holds DEAN on the gunpoint.
Mr. MARTINEZ

So will you now let them go, or should I
DEAN
No wait, Johnny let them go.

FELIX hits DECLAN and kicks the pistol of DEANS hand.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Now can we just all calm down and talk about this problem?
JOHNNY
No!
DEAN
Yes, Tell Violet and Alice to come down.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Good.
CUT TO:
Int. DEANS OFFICE
Mr. MARTINEZ and DEAN are sitting while LA CAMARILLA and
FELIX, OSCAR, EVELYN and JACK are standing behind them
respectively.
Mr. MARTINEZ
What do you want, Richards?
DEAN (RICHARDS)
I want Oscar out of this school.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Cant be.
DEAN
Then this talk is useless. We will still continue to beat
you one by one.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Richards, I was good till now because I thought they were
kids and all this was their chilliness. But after what
they did today, they are nothing short of criminals.
OSCAR
And what if I leave?
DEAN

OSCAR
I have to sir. All this is because of me. Im the reason

We see SCARLET running and throwing stuff along the path
to create a hindrance in the path of DECLAN and JOHNNY.
SCARLET is stuck with the bat in the stomach by VIOLET who
was hiding behind a pole. SCARLET falls to the ground in
some pain.

We see SCARLET and EVELYN sitting on a couch.

EVELYN
Oh! I saw that one coming. See as you know Julie is
Ethans sister and Oscar and Julie were, well, sort of
more than friends. You wont believe that sassy Ethan was
a humorous guy, playing pranks at whoever he saw.
SCARLET
That smirk on his face yesterday, said it all. He has
missed you guys.
EVELYN
I know he did. And I know he misses Oscar even more. Two
former partner in crimes, now committing crimes against
each other.
SCARLET
So cant we do something to bring them together?
EVELYN
Since Julie was shot, there is no going back Scarlet.
Ethan wont trust Oscar anymore. On the day of that
competition Ethan told Oscar that he wont bring Julie
there. Oscar promised it but he broke it.

Even though I have known Oscar for only a few days, I can
say he might not be truthful every time but he is a man of

into the schools building.

SCARLET spots ETHAN going out with OSCAR following. It
seems that ETHAN doesnt know he is being followed by

SCARLET follows OSCAR.
After roughly 15 minutes of following OSCAR, SCARLET
arrives at a hospital.
We see ETHAN coming out of a room. He leaves the hospital
smiling.
OSCAR was hiding in the alley with a bouquet.

OSCAR enters the room where a girl in her mid 16s is
lying. She is Julie.

might still be a bit arrogant towards me. But he is back
home. Now all we are missing is you.
OSCAR

And yeah dont worry, I wont tell Ethan what happened

SCARLET is listening everything.
OSCAR gets up to leave. SCARLET rushes to hide.
As OSCAR leaves SCARLET looks at that girl and then again
at OSCAR.

We see ETHAN waiting for somebody.

ETHAN and LAUREN get in the water and start swimming.

There is an eruption of applause and OSCAR and group start
to celebrate.
THEIR celebration is cut short when DEAN asks the
announcer to say something.
