For the postion of design engineer

Responsibilities:

Creating concept designs.

CAD modeling to include 3D and 2D Layouts using Creo 2.0 or Solid Edge ST4.

Providing proven outcomes demonstrating a strong grasp of design for


manufacturability

Ensuring fit and form of new and existing designs

Supporting Engineering changes from BOM and drawings standpoint

Demonstrating a strong attention to details while creating new designs and working
with Bill of materials.
Tolerance Stack up analysis.

Modifying and revising designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce


production problems.

computing mathematical formulas in order to develop and design detailed


specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.

Productively supporting cross functional team coordination through the usage of well
developed interpersonal skills

Managing the resolution of CAD related issues and tasks

Revising, editing, and updating changes to drawings based on revised sketches,


notes, drawings, and verbal instruction

Being involved in troubleshooting/problem solving on constructability/design

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience

Broad product design engineering knowledge

Proficiency in Creo 2.0 and up (Pro-sheet metal, Pro-piping and Solid modeling)

Proficiency in Solid edge ST4 and up (sheet metal, xpress route and Solid modeling)

Experience in product design and engineering change process

Experience in manufacturing and fabrication methods

Experience with Bill of Material structures

Good mechanical design and hands on background.

Fluent in dimensioning and tolerance stack up analysis.

Capable of designing mechanical system with help from design engineers.

Must have good communication skills written and verbal.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer skills (MS Office, E-Mail and Internet)

Question, listen, and observe objectively and insightfully

Coordinate, organize, and attention to detail

Prioritize, coordinate, and follow up with others to meet objectives

Learn and apply new technology as needed

Troubleshoot/anticipate any design and CAD problems
