Key Responsibilities - Follow and ensure the project development process in accordance
with ISO 13485 and the departmental work methodology.
Lead mechanical design concept definition, development, verification, and
validation.
Lead Mechanical design projects tasks on the project development process, from
Concept to Production. Ensuring compliance with specifications, deadlines, quality,
and standards required for certification.
Plan and execute Design Mechanical activities, Ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery
dates.
Support on Risk Analysis, and failure analysis.
Improve validation & verification process for mechanical parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively participate in the development of equipment and continuous improvement:
Design and build of equipment to specification.

specifications to each platform submodule and component.

Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience is a MUST
Strong skills and experiences with mechanical drawing software packages, such as
SolidWorks, is a must.
Knowledge in product certifications (CE mark, ATEX, etc.) would be highly valuable
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, for example
with GD&T.
Experiences on mechanical design of optical devices for food or pharma industry
would be a plus
Good level of English (C1) is a must.

Main Responsibilities
The engineer will work with Meltio teams and component suppliers in order to:
● Develop and optimize designs in 3D CAD software with associated CAE tools
● Validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility
● Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings
● Validate components per defined engineering requirements
● Resolve issues and concerns with cross-functional teams including engineering, firmware,
supply chain, production, and service
● Participate in the sourcing process and manage engineering relationships with suppliers
● Deliver to defined schedules
What You Will Do
Utilize CAD software to design automotive stamped parts, focusing on Side Panel,
Cantrail, Bodyside Inner, Tailgate Panels; also A, B, C and D Pillar.
Take ownership of design projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy,
feasibility, and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct feasibility assessments of stamped parts in Steel/Body in White (BiW)
environments, evaluating joining techniques such as welding or riveting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance,
and product development to optimize designs for production efficiency and quality.
Provide technical expertise and support throughout the design process, addressing
any challenges or issues that arise.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in stamping technology, and
emerging design methodologies to enhance product performance and innovation.
What You Need To Succeed
At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position
Automotive background or designing of production lines for machinery
Good knowledge and experience of Catia v5 / 3DX
Knowledge of GD&T principles
Proficiency in CAD software, with experience designing automotive stamped parts
preferred.
Strong understanding of stamp parts feasibility in Steel/BiW environments.
Knowledge of welding and riveting techniques for joining stamped parts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs on time and
within budget.
