Open photoshop
Window Workspace
1. Move tool
2. Marquis tool

Foreground and background color (3rd from bottom 2 squares)

New document type: photo landscape, 8x10

How to Open Images


Google images set tool size 8 megapixels for 8x10

Right click copy image paste into photoshop conforms to same image
dimensions as previous
OR
File New makes dimensions same as picture paste image

File Open Saved Image

Navigating
Window Navigator allows you to preview image at different zoom lens

100% is your true output (true printing resolution)


Shortcut: CTRL + +/- to zoom in/out

Brush Tool
Hardness = how soft the edge of the paint stroke is
Opacity = how transparent the paint stroke is

Round brush: can change shape into elipse

Clearing the Canvas


CTRL + A Delete
CTRL + D

Brush Palette Window


Window Brush
Spacing: moves brush spacing; can make it have a stamp/pattern effect
Noise and below = you can turn on/off
Wet Edges
Build-up = like ink, press and hold

Brush Dynamics = changes size as you paint a stroke
