Three Act Story Structure
All story has structure.
Its so fun to be creative and write a story that just pops into our minds. As inspiration
strikes and the story flows from our imagination to our finger tips, some of the details
may be lost or the story may become confusing. For that reason, we have story
structure. Story structure is meant to help us formulate our ideas in a way that we can
keep the audience's interest. I don't intend to ruin the movie watching experience you
but I may. Every movie you have ever seen has a structure to it. The structure is
typically broken down into 3 acts and a series of story beats.
