This document outlines a student project to create an LED circuit module using an Arduino Uno. The objectives are to build the LED circuit, interface it with an Arduino and computer, and simulate it without error. A block diagram and functional description explain how the computer will code and power the Arduino board, which will control an LED module. Circuit diagrams, foil patterns, and part placements are provided, along with software requirements and bill of materials. Design procedures and recommendations are also included.

I. OBJECTIVES
a. To be able to create the LED circuit module.
b. To be able to use an Arduino Uno and a computer to simulate and interface as well as
run the code.
c. To be able simulate the LED module without error.

b. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
i. COMPUTER
 In this project we will be using a Computer in order interface with the
Arduino Uno with its Arduino IDE. The Arduino IDE will allow as to write
and upload the codes to the physical board. The computer will also act
as a power source for the Arduino board using the USB port.
ii. ARDUINO UNO
 Arduino is an open source programmable circuit board that can be
integrated into a wide variety of makerspace projects both simple and
complex. This board contains a microcontroller which is able to be
programmed to sense and control objects in the physical world. By
responding to sensors and inputs, the Arduino is able to interact with a
large array of outputs such as LEDs, motors and displays. Because of its
flexibility and low cost, Arduino has become a very popular choice for
makers and makerspaces looking to create interactive hardware
projects.
iii. MODULE
 The First circuit will be a LED module. This module contains 8 LEDs and
will be used to simulate a blinking LED light as well as test individual
LEDs.
