Newspaper headline: Change can occur when there is a disparity
with equity, and can lead to a revolution affecting the power of
certain people over a society.
1. French Revolution.
In the french revolution there were three major events that influenced
the majority the power of certain people over a society. This three
major event were: Call of Estate General, Royal Family attempts to
flee and Execution of the Queen. The mayor event in the french
revolution that had more impact in the power of some people over
society was the Execution of the Queen, On 21 September 1792, the
monarchy was abolished. Her trial began on 14 October 1793, and two
days later Marie Antoinette was convicted by the Revolutionary
Tribunal of high treason and executed by guillotine on the Place de la
Révolution. This event affected the power of many people over society,
due to the fact that Marie Antoniette was a very important Queen at
the time, althought this might be true many people hated her and
wanted her power. When Marie Antoniette was executed, many people
wanted to rule, and believed they had the power over certain society,
as a matter of fact citizens of france had any power over society
before the execution of marie antoniette, this was a major cause of the
execution of the Queen. In addition to this In July 1793, she lost custody
of her young son, who was forced to accuse her of sexual abuse and
incest before a Revolutionary tribunal. The Revolutionary tribunal had
the majority of the power over the society. In spite of the fact that
many gained power over society when this event happened, many
others lost power over society during the execution of the queen, as a
matter of fact, her son and the rest of the royal family lost the entire
power over society and the rest of the citizens were the ones who
gained it.
