Before starting the pdfDocs install
¨¨ You must have local administrator rights to be able to
install the software.
¨¨ NET 4.5 must be installed on your Windows machine.
You will be able to download the program through the
DocsCorp Resource Center if you do not already have
the program.
¨¨ Close all Microsoft Office and document management
system client applications that are running before
beginning the installation process.
¨¨ Create a folder for downloading pdfDocs into.

Download your pdfDocs trial
1. Go to www.docscorp.com/portal.
2. Log in with your email address and password.
These were sent to you previously via email.
3. Navigate to the My Software page.
4. Once the My Software page displays, click on the
pdfDocs link in the Downloads/Support column.
5. The Downloads page will display. From here you can
download the software, MS .NET as well as Release
Notes and User Guide.

Installing pdfDocs
1. Navigate to the folder pdfDocs downloaded to on
your system.
2. Double-click on the pdfDocs installer file.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions, clicking the Next
button until installation is complete.
4. Click on the pdfDocs icon on your Desktop to open
the application.

Adding the pdfDocs license
1. Open pdfDocs.
2. Select About in the Backstage View
The About pdfDocs dialog box displays. 3
3. Click on the Set License button.
4. Enter the Licensee Name and the License Key into
the appropriate fields.
This information can be obtained from the My Software
page. It must be entered exactly as it appears there.
