As a Software QA Senior Engineer you would be part of Dell Software Group R&D Shared Services Lab
in India. We are looking for someone who enjoys the combination QA testing & automation, supporting
the development team in regressions and the ability to communicate effectively (written, spoken and/or
graphically) across many geographies.

development team in regressions and the ability to communicate effectively (written, spoken and/or
graphically) across many geographies.

Mandatory:

 Experience in deployment and installation of Enterprise system management solutions


 Hands on Experience in VMWare or Hyper-V
 Knowledge on Patch Management/Hotfixes
 Knowledge in Software Distribution and provisioning
 Knowledge of network OS installations
 Hand-on experience working in Windows, Mac and Linux operating system
 Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies SDLC
 Strong background in QA Testing process and activities - Test Planning, Test Strategy,
Estimation, Test Case Design, Test Execution, Defect Management etc.
 Hands on experience in test management, defect management tools
 Strong communication skills, need to interact with multiple stakeholders located in different Geo
 Experience working in a distributed engineering environment.
 Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

Desired:

 Knowledge of storage technologies including RAID, SCSI, FC/iSCSI


 Hands on/Knowledge on APK or mobile app install/usage
 Experience in Mobile testing
 Knowledge of setting up DNS for active directory
 Knowledge of IP protocol infrastructure
 Knowledge of shell scripting
 Experience in System Management tools
