Team sports it is played between two teams who against each other and give there possible effort to
achieve and an activity in which individuals are organized into opposing teams which compete to
win. Example are: Basketball, volleyball, baseball and football.

Volleyball is team sports in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to
score points by grounding a ball on the other teams court under organized rules. A game for two
teams in which a large ball is hit by hand over a high net, the aim being to score points by making the
ball reach the ground on the opponent side of the court.

Basketball is a limited-contact sports played on a rectangular court. While most often played as a
team sports with five players on each side, three-on-three, two-on-two and one-on-one
competitions are also common. A game played between two teams of five players in which goals are
scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed above each end of the court.

Baseball a ball game played between two terms of nine on field with a diamond-shape circuit of four
bases. It is played chiefly in the US, Canada , Latin America, and east Asia.

Softball is a variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. It was invented in 1887 in
Chicago, Illinois, United States as an indoor game.

Archery is the sport , practice or skill of using a bow to propel arrows. The word comes from
the Latin ‘’arcus’’. Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. In modern
times, it is mainly a competitive sport and recreational activity.

Athletics is a collection of sporting events that involve competitive running, jumping,


throwing and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field,
road running, cross country running, and race walking. Athletics is considered to be mother
of all games and is in fact the way of living and not just a sport.

Track and field is a sport which includes athletic contests established on the skills of
running, jumping and throwing. Athletic events that take place on a running track and a
nearby field ;track events and field events.

High jump is a track and field event in which competitors must jump unaided over a
horizontal bar placed at measured heights without dislodging it .An athletic event in which
competitors jump over a bar that is raised until only one competitor can jump over it
without dislodging it.

Billiard or Cue sports are a wide variety of games of skill generally played with a cue stick,
which is used to strike billiard balls and there by cause them to move around.A game usually
for two people, played on a billiard table, in which three balls are struck with cues into
pockets around the edge of the table.
