About this role
West Moreton Hospital and Health Service covers an area that is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. This provides for a

outlined through the eHealth Queensland vision for Queensland hospitals, will position West Moreton well to transition to a provider
of tertiary services and deliver significant benefits to the community, staff and government. A digital hospital will also complement
the strategic plan objectives to provide tertiary level services to the community close to where they live.
The purpose of this role is to provide high level administrative support to the Chief Information Officer and Digital Hospital project
team. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer and provides support to the Digital Hospital team.
The key accountabilities of the role are:
• Respond to general client inquiries via phone, email and in person acting as primary point of contact for the unit for all incoming
and outgoing communication while maintaining confidentiality and utilising tact and discretion and assisting staff and clients as
required.
• Establish, review and maintain an effective office record system for confidential documents, correspondence, invoices,
precedents and reports and manage computerised data.
• Diary management and file bring-up management as instructed and have a direct involvement in quality improvement activities
as directed by Chief Information Officer
• Collating and analysing information as required, ensuring accuracy in delivering within agreed timeframes.
• Assist Chief Information Officer in ad-hoc project support including research, preparation, coordination, correspondence and
reports on the progress of projects and other activities/tasks.
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of high quality correspondence (eg letters and emails), presentations, reports and other
documents.
• Complete administration tasks including word-processing, data collection, data entry, data analysis, reporting, creating
spreadsheets, photocopying, filing, organising room bookings and equipment and managing, collecting and distributing internal
and external mail.
• Provide assistance to divisions and other team members as requested.
• Contribute to the strategies of the department, through the identification of new initiatives that enhance the performance of
administrative services.
• Manage workload appropriately; prioritising tasks, ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes and in the absence
of supervision including exercising judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality
of work undertaken.
• Actively contribute to maintaining a safe workplace that values the health and safety of co-workers, clients or visitors.
• Actively contribute to developing and maintaining a culture where staff are vigilant to risks to themselves, their co-workers,
clients or visitors (including health and safety, business and operational risks).
• Actively participate in the Health Service Performance Planning and Appraisal and Individual Development Planning processes.
