1. Va : 80 Kts
2. V No. 153 Kts.
3. ICAO Annex 16 permitted noise level: 80/66.8 db.
4. Best ROC 92 Kts. (Vy)
5. Best AOC 80 Kts. (Vx)
6. Trim failure is indicated by: Ligh t& Annunciator.
7. Auto Pilot disengage: Flash for 12 secs & sound for 2 secs.
8. Flying in icing conditions is prohibited because wing, horizontal& vertical stabiliser
de-icing boots are insufficient to provide icing protection to the entire aircraft.
9. Flap Ext Speeds:
0° -17° : 157 Kts
17°- 30° : 143 Kts
30°- 35° : 101 Kts.
10. Combustion heater is located on the aft fuselage behind the baggage.
11. Single engine T/O when runway is not available:
Operating Engine:
Mixture : Fully Rich
Prop : Fully Forward
Throttle : Fully Forward
Establish speed for best AOC (Vx) : 80 Kts.
Inoperative Engine:
Throttle: Closed.
Propeller: Feathered.
Mixture: Idle cut off.
After retraction of flaps, climb at best ROC (Vy) 92 Kts. Adjust trim.
Secure the inoperative engine by putting:
Fuel selector : Engine Shut OFF.
Fuel Auxillary Pump : OFF.
Magnetto : OFF.
Alternator : OFF
Land as soon as possible.
12. Spin recovery procedure
Close Throttle.
Full opposite rudder.
Stick fully forward.
Centralise rudders.
Spin stops, stick stops.
Recover from the dive. Get wings level.
13. Gyro instruments are air driven.
14. Decoupling may be accompanied by any of the following:
Disengage alt mode.
S/W off coupling mode (Flt Director)
Disengage Auto Pilot.
15. Cabin heat disengage cut off temp: 35° C.
16. Anti icing additive not more than 1% by volume.
17. Blade angle range: 14.2°±0.2° to 81.2°± 0.3°.
18. Max enroute speed is: 137 Kts.
19. Max X- wind: 25 Kts.
20. When cargo doors are open do not operate flaps.
21. Marking of the roll attitude: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 60° & 90° on A/H.
22. Auto pilot is prohibited with more than 15° flaps.
23. Reselect & select auto pilot when 35° flaps stabilise.
24. Max bank & altitude loss during auto pilot malfunction 60°/300 Ft.
25. Max altitude loss during single engine: 120 Ft.
26. Max baggage capacity: 400 lbs.
27. If alternator failure warning light is on, disregard if auto pilot is normal. Get it
checked by maintenance after landing.
28. Fire detection system is not installed.
29. Should the fire die out, do not attempt to restart the engine.
30. The following will result in engine shut down :
Oil Pressure does not register
Alternator output low.
31. Procedure to start from external power source:
Internal Battery: OFF
Alternator: OFF
32. Baulk landing procedure:
Full throttle. RPM 2700.
Flaps 15°.
Speed 78 Kts.
Mixture Fully rich.
33. MTOW : 4594 lbs.
34. Max autopilot speed: 170 Kts.
35. Blue indicator on ASI indicates best ROC speed: 92 Kts.
36. Min ht for auto pilot operation : 200 Ft.
37. Procedure for operation of cabin heat:
Cabin power handle: Open.
Cabin temp handle: Increase.
Cabin heater: Heater.
Cabin temp handle : Adjust.
38. Auto pilot will disengage during a power failure.
39. Auto pilot will disengage when:
Power failure.
Internal flight control system failure.
Compass heading loss.
Roll >16°/sec. Pitch 8°/sec. (except when CWS is working)
40. Vertical trim in auto pilot is 0.7°/ sec.
41. Function of split switch:
Left half provides power to engage trim servo clutch.
Right half controls direction of motion of trim servo motor.
42. Deselect and select auto pilot when 35° flaps stabilise.
43. The door on the right hand side is locked by solenoid locking plunger so that door
cannot be opened with right engine running.
44. Procedure for refuelling both tanks.
Fill up one tank.
Fill up other tank.
Go back and top up 1st tank.
45. Max altitude loss in conv stall: 600 Ft.
46. Duration of inflation cycle of deicing boots is 7 secs.
47. Single engine approach speed is 92 Kts.
48. Exhaust of air conditioning system is bleed out of left skin hole.
49. CWS switch helps to control aircraft manually without disengaging the selected
modes.

51. It is the responsibility of the pilot to ensure that the ac is properly loaded.
52. If battery switch is off in flight, stall warning will not come.
53. Heat for cabin defrosting is obtained from two heat exchangers located in engine
mufflers.
54. Approved fuel anti ice additive is: 150 Propyl Alcohol not more than 1% by volume.
55. Aerobatic manoeuvres including spins are not permitted.
56. The datum location is at wing leading edge.
57. Aircraft is approved for Day & Night VFR operations. With proper equipment
installed operational approved for Day & Night IFR operations.
58. Unusable fuel in each tank is 2.5 USG/9 Ltrs.
59. Total usable oil: 6 Quarts/5.7 Ltrs.
60. Total oil quantity is : 8 Quarts/7.5 Ltrs.
61. Max power is : 2700 RPM /200 HP.
62. Max CHT : 475° F.
63. Max oil temp: 245° F.
64. Min oil pressure at idle: 25 psi.
65. Total usable fuel each tank: 68 USG/ 260 Ltrs.
66. Power for engine inoperative go round: 2700 RPM at full throttle.
67. Procedure for re- start in air:
Fuel selector: ON
Magnettos switches: ON
Aux fuel pump: ON
Throttle: ½ inch open.
Propeller : Fullt forward.
Mixture: Rich, until fuel flow is shown, then idle cut off.
Starter: Press when engine fires, release starter, Mixture fully rich.
Aux fuel pump: OFF.
Alternator: ON.
68. During go round flaps should be: 15°.
69. Manoeuvering speed is 137 Kts.
70. CG limits:
Fwd: 0.328 mtrs(12.60 inches) aft of datum at MTOW 4594 lbs.
Aft : 0.481 mtrs (18.92 inches) aft of datum for all weights.
71. Max pitch angle with one engine inoperative stall is 30°.
72. Baulk landing:
RPM 2700. Full throttle.
Mixture fully rich.
Flaps 15°.
Climb at speed 78 Kts for best ROC.
Adjust trim.
73. Best ROC: 92 Kts.
74. Flaps 35° : 78 Kts.
75. Glide slope can be captured on auto pilot from above or below the beam with
operating pitch altitude held or altitude hold mode.
76. On HSI GS in view indicates a usable glide slope signal is being received.
77. Combustion heater is located on aft fuselage behind the cabin baggage compartment.
78. Max flap operating speed with auto pilot ON is 100 Kts.
79. Auto pilot when disengage, the annunciator flashes 12 times with 2 secs aural
warning.
80. Trim warning aural & visual. Aural can be disabled, visual remains ON.
81. Trim warning comes ON when not powered ON or not tested during pre-flight.
82. Air conditioning system not approved for:
T/O & landing.
Single alternator operation.
83. Yaw trim should be maintained during single engine flight.
84. For levelling the ac laterally:
Put spirit level across seat rails.
Deflate/ Inflate tyre of lower jack.
85. For levelling the ac longitudinally:
Partially withdraw two levelling screws below left centre window.
86. Place spirit level. Deflate/inflate nose wheel or raise/lower jacks.
87. With door open, flaps can be lowered upto 17°.
88. Flaps are to be lowered during SE when aligned for landing.
89. Power setting for go round:
90. Power setting for baulk landing: RPM 2700, full throttle, flaps 15°.
