Subject: Casual Leave Due to Domestic Reasons

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I am writing to you to request for an extension for my


current leave from office (Adda Jhek Camp). I had to rush home few days
back i.e. on 09/05/2019 due to tragic death of my nephew. I had informed
PM and Admin NCO that I was rushing home due this reason. It is such a
huge loss for my family, all family members were very upset due to this
incident, and my presence with my family was inevitable at that time of
sorrow and grief. My other nephew who is just 5 years old is also suffering
from the same issues as the one who died. For that reason, I need to stay
at home with my family till his health is good, and thus, will not be able to
return to work as I was expected to.

I humbly request you to consider my case and allow me another 2 week’s


leave. I will return to the work after Eid-ul-Fitr and resume office. I have
also been in constant contact with my colleagues who are covering the
office work (Cheque Requests Record) there have been no major issues
and no burden of work yet. However, I deeply apologize for the
inconvenience I may be causing. I hope you will empathize with my
situation and grant me this leave extension.
