INTERVIEW WITH ISAAC

So at what level do you officiate at?

And at that level, does VAR come into play?
So when you see VAR being used on television, do you think that it
would help you to officiate better?
How often on average would you say that you call decisions wrong in
a game?
In a contentious goal how would you decide which way to give the
decision only based off what the referee and linesman has seen?
How has modern referee training evolved to accommodate not just VAR
but all forms of technology?
(All questions will be elaborated on depending on answers)
And finally, from more of a supporter’s perspective, are you for or
against VAR in football?

INTERVIEW WITH LUCCA

At what level do you play tennis?
Obviously, the most famous piece of technology in Tennis is Hawkeye,
have you ever experienced playing with Hawkeye?
So you must have had decisions given against you when you’ve made a
serve, for example, that is in and the officiator has called it out,
how frustrating is that for you?
Something that has happened in tennis that maybe hasn’t happened in
football is that Hawkeye can give you a definite decision quickly,
so I take it your for technology in professional tennis?
And do you think the reason that it works so well in sports like
tennis and cricket is because you’re either in or your out so
there’s a definite decision?
(All questions will be elaborated on depending answers)

INTERVIEW WITH BRAD

How long have you been supporting Reading?
So obviously the Championship doesn’t accommodate VAR, how
frustrating is it when you see your team on Saturday concede an
offside goal that is given, yet if were Premier League game then the
correct decision would be made?
So do you think that VAR should be implemented in all levels of
English League football?
So obviously the biggest element in all of this is the funding and
teams having to renovate stadiums to accommodate VAR, do you think
that if the FA want to push this in the future then they should put
up the funding?
(All questions will be elaborated on depending on answers)
Finally, VAR, yes or no?
