It extensively gratifies me to write this letter of commendation for my tutee Mr. Shubham Sudhir
Gawde who wish to seek Masters degree at your eminent university. I have known him for the
past few years since he was a sophomore at our college. I have been associated with him as an
Assistant Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering at Saraswati Education Society’s
Group of Institutions Faculty of Engineering at affiliated to the University of Mumbai. In his
course duration, I have taught him courses like Data Compression and Encryption (Semester-
VII) and Satellite Communication and Networks (Semester- VIII).
Shubham has been enthusiastic in both theoretical and practical aspects of a particular subject.
Implying to the subjects I lectured, their curriculum depict a variety of mathematical techniques
with a blend of networking algorithms and concepts that render a superlative performance of
various computer networks. Vivek’s penchant for Mathematics and his conceptual approach
towards these subjects would definitely give him the opportunity to leverage his skills further to
a higher proficiency by pursuing his Master’s degree in the field of analytics.
In my perspective, he is a quick learner and likes to go explore beyond the theoretical purview, to
practical applications of his subjects. His perseverance has enabled him to achieve his goals in
the Workshop sessions. His analytical abilities and an acute sense of reasoning always helped
him to analyse enigmatic problems exceptionally well. His lab-work was very disciplined and I
was impressed with the interactive approach and clear expression that he followed. Also his
willingness and constant urge to learn new advancements in technology would surely help him in
his future endeavors.
In addition to this, he has participated in various inter-college and intra-college Football
tournaments during his academic tenure. He has exhibit his responsibility towards society by
lending a helping hand to numerous noble causes through social campaign drives that was
conducted at our college. In Short, Shubham is both scholarly and culturally entrenched,
ambitious but not pretentious, self-deprecating yet confident, forthright but unassuming,
delightfully irreverent yet appropriately respectful a complex and whole human being.
I truly believe that Vivek’s techno-social background suits him best for being a part of the
student community at your esteemed university. Therefore, I strongly recommend Mr. Vivek
Sanjay Mane for his admission for Master in Science degree at your university along with the
