Modernization of Digital Signal Processing Laboratory

Abstract

To develop the Lab Instructional Material with appropriate Technology is to ensure that the
laboratory work and project work to be carried out by students in a modernized way
with appropriated to the needs of the Industry. To enrich the performance parameter and
specification of existing equipment in adaptation of latest development in the field and
replacement of old depreciated equipment by modern equipments, Used for indirect
benefit to Faculty / Students through outcome based Continuing Education programs to
make the modern asserts of the society

Objective

In field of Digital Signal Processing to keep pace with the latest state of the art, it is
necessary to update and upgrade current level of DSP processors for engineering fields.

 To analyze the performance of signal detection algorithms.

 To analyze the performance of Noise suppression algorithm.

 To analyze the performance of BER,MSEA,I/Q Imbalance analysis.

 To analyze the performance of Timing and frequency synthesizer algorithm.

Project Impact -Expected outcome

To enhance the performance of learners to equip with the modern technological


awareness of how to implement in the day today’s life to face the scientifically
competitive world in the 21st century.
