MD5 Hash Test:

The test checks the integrity of the file. It compares the file downloaded against what is available on the MicroTek FTP
server. It will indicate if the downloaded file is valid or corrupt.
It is highly recommended to run the MD5 Hash Test after downloading. If setup is scheduled for a later date and time,
this will ensure the download is valid.

Email Notification:
MicroTek will provide FTP information via email 3 weeks prior to the event. Within this email, please find the hash
marks for each file.
We have a new MD5 hash tool available that will make running hashes a simpler process. This tool will allow you
compute hashes on an entire image in one fell swoop. It also sports an easy to use drag and drop interface.

Hash Test:

 Add files or drag and drop files into the tool.


 The software will automatically compute the hash marks.

 Copy the hash marks into the tool.
 Select ‘Validate Hash Values’.

 A GREEN icon will indicate valid files.


 All other files must be downloaded again.
