The department of CSE organized a training program for Non-Teaching faculties to
enhance their knowledge on Digital Literacy. Ms. Subbulakshmi, Asst.Prof./CSE &
Ms. J. Jeyaranjani, Asst.Prof./CSE acted as resource persons. Around 20 Non-
Teaching faculties from Kalasalingam University and 5 participants form nearby
sister institutions participated in the program. During the program the following
points were discussed.

 Introduction to Computer
 Microsoft office packages-Word, Excel
 Microsoft office packages-PPT & Email usage
 Online Access of websites

The participants felt that that the training program was very much useful for them. The
coordinator, Mr. S. Hariharasitaraman, AP-II/CSE co-ordinated the events

 The outcome of the training program is to apply the knowledge gained that
could be used in day today life. Also this training program helps them to
prepare electronic content for e-learning based education.
