program does the thinking and writing for you. Resume Builder simplifies the
work of finding the job by providing intelligent and user-friendly software Resume
Builder can display the resume structure in a user-friendly format, so that you can
choose which sections of the resume to publish. You can also modify the order of
the Published Sections – Biographical Data, Objective, Employment History,
Education History, Personal, Skill Areas, Publications, Summary and
Certifications.
Abstract
An online resume builder is a software developed to simplify the task of creating a
resume for individuals. The application provides an effective means of designing
desired resume in fact a professional looking resume. The system is flexible to be
used and reduces the need of thinking and designing an appropriate resume
according to qualifications. Usually individuals get confused while creating a
resume especially for a novice person such as graduate students. They don’t get a
clear idea of what things and information must be included in a resume. Hence the
system is developed to provide them an easy way for creating a professional
looking resume.
This project is user-friendly and requires minimum human intervention.
Individuals just have to fill up a form that specifies questions from all required
fields such as personal questions, educational, qualities, interest, skills and so on.
The answers provided by the users are stored and the system automatically
generates a well structured resume. Users have option to create resume in any
format and file.
Existing System:
You still have to input your information onto the page or software for the resume
builder to be able to complete your resume. Often you are restricted to use the
builder’s fonts and formats .Some builders are purely 100% online and don’t have
the functionality to allow the user to save their resume to other word processing
software such as Microsoft Word, and often you can only print out what you have
completed online. This makes it hard for individuals if they are applying for
several different positions or if they want to adjust the resume for the different
positions that they are applying for. Some of the resume builders only provide you
with a PDF copy of your resume which again restricts you for further adaption or
updating.
Proposed system:
One of the biggest trials for many job-seekers is creating the perfect resume. You
can find a professional to do it for you, or you can use a template, but if you are a
victim of the do-it-yourself attitude (like most of us in IT) then you need to know
how to include your IT skills in a clean and readable format. You also need to make
sure to utilize important keywords. Whether your resume is already online, or still
in paper form, it is likely to end up in a database at some point and you need to
make sure it comes up in the right searches.

Admin:
In this application administrator can login with his login details, after
successful login he can view all available users as well as their resumes.
User:
User can easily build his own resume and he can view the resume & he can logout
from the system. User can build the resume by entering his personal and
educational & experience details. And the resume will be generated automatically
By our application .and parallely he can view the generated resume
Features:
Admin login: Admin is the one who administers the system and input
updates.
User login: Users have to create an account into the system by registering
themselves. Then they may login into the system and can utilize services.
Resume templates: The system contains various kinds of resume templates
for all kind of qualification i.e. for both fresher and experienced. And also
according to the kind of degree one has.
Resume form: Users on selecting the format will be given an online form to
be filled. The form includes questions like academics, personal, interests,
hobbies, skills, courses, experience and so on.
Resume builder: On submitting the form the system stores the data and
within a short period of time generates resume in selected format.
Choice of file: User also given option to choose the kind of file they wish to
create the resume i.e. in PDF file or word file.
Export facility: Users can even export the file from word to PDF or vice-
versa.
