This proprietary design allows automatic connect and pull to disconnect

to accommodate one hand operation. Machined from solid brass bar
stock. Stainless steel balls and springs maximize corrosion resistance.
Tubular valve is standard in 1/4" body size, and prong valve standard in

 UNIVERSAL QUICK Couplings

Universal couplers are designed to accept the most common styles of 1/4”
nipples; Automotive, Industrial, and Aro. These couplers also interchange
with the European high-flow style offered by Cejn, OBAC, and Nitto.
The design of this coupler combines the easy push-to-connect feature
while still maintaining a sleeve coupler profile to prevent accidental
disconnection when hoses are dragged.

Universal style couplings employ a different valve design than common

North American parts that allows much higher air flow rates (see chart
below).

 Injection Mold Couplings

Injection mold couplings provide quick coupling for cooling and heating
hoses used on injection molding equipment. They are machined from solid
brass bar stock. Stainless steel balls, retaining ring, and spring provide
maximum service life. A high temperature silicone seal is standard.
Plugs are machined from solid brass and steel bar stock. Steel plugs are
zinc plated for superior corrosion resistance. Mold couplings are usually
installed by adding G21B or G2016 hose barb fittings - see Brass Section
of this Catalog. Where coupler must be valved, the valve and spring are
inserted and retained when the hose barb or other fitting is attached.

Garden Hose Couplings

and brass residential garden hose quick disconnects. They are a straight-
through (no shut-off) design and feature brass bodies with garden hose

 Straight-Through Couplings

This manual connect and disconnect coupling is commonly used in fluid

transfer applications where unrestricted flow and high operating pressures
are desired. Couplers are machined from solid brass and 303 stainless
steel bar stock. Stainless steel balls, retaining ring, and spring provide

connect and disconnect provide rugged resistance to deformation. Steel
sleeves are hardened to provide maximum service life. Machined from
solid brass, steel, and 303 stainless steel bar stock. Stainless steel
balls, retaining rings, and springs provide maximum service life. Steel
and stainless steel units incorporate a Teflon back-up ring to withstand
dynamic impulse. A backup o-ring seal is standard in all brass and 1-1/4"

C400 couplings are interchangeable with Parker/Pioneer 4000, Aeroquip

FD76, Safeway S20 and comply with ISO standard 5675. In the 1/2"
size only, they also meet ISO-7421-A, and so interchange with C200
series 1/2" parts. Traditionally, C400 were supplied with ball type valves.
However, to reduce unsightly dripping, many users now specify poppet
valves, which are designated by a 'P' in the part number.

 C700 Series Hydraulic Couplings

C700 Flush-Face Couplings were developed to handle dirty conditions in

construction and maintenance applications. The flat faces on both coupler
and nipple are easily wiped clean before connection, avoiding difficult
connection and fluid contamination. Other features include a built-in
sleeve lock (by rotating the sleeve), single handed connection, non-spill
design, and excellent flow performance. Flush-Face Couplings are most
often seen on hydraulic jackhammers and emergency rescue equipment,
but they are gaining in popularity in a variety of applications. The
3/8" size conforms to HTMA (Hydraulic Tool Manufacturers Association)
specifications and interchange with Parker FF and Aeroquip FD49. We stock
C700 series for standard pressure applications, and C700H for pressures
up to 10,000 psi (see table on next page for pressure ratings by size).

Our C800 design interchanges with the following Series: Snaptite H, and
Faster TNV. This manual connect and disconnect is machined from solid
steel bar stock (also available in Brass and 316 stainless steel). Stainless
steel balls, retaining rings, and springs maximize corrosion resistance
and extend service life. All units incorporate a Teflon backup ring to
withstand dynamic impulse. Also available in valved and non-valved,
NPTF, BSPP, ORB, and larger sized configurations. Buna-N (Nitrile) seals
are standard. Steel plugs are induction hardened and zinc plated to
provide heavy duty performance.
