per specification, drawing and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand ) to correct, line, level, plumb including raking
out the joints, curing scaffolding, loading, unloading transportation,

and directed by Engineer-in-charge
Laying plain cement concrete 1:11/2 :3 (1 cement : 1 1/2 sand : 3 stone
aggregate) for Mill tunion casting and gap filling between iron liner
inside Mill shell and leveling & gap filing with concrete inside cone
crusher and jaw crusher (conical shape) finishing the concrete surface
with 1:3 cement mortar (1 cement : 3 sand) including cleaning the
surface removing oily substance, scaffolding, form work , line, level,
curing etc. including dismantling the existing concrete, complete in all

respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The work shall
be carried out during shutdown/break down period at any time on
A/B/C or G shift as and when required Approx. cement required 3 bags,
approx. labour required - 4 nos. with mason for 12 to 16 hrs. for one
time completing the job including idle time.
Fixing steel reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work / brick
work including transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting,
derusting, bending, placing in position at all height and binding with
7 binding wire etc. complete as per drawing , specification and
instruction of the Engineer-incharge. ( Binding wire shall not be
measured but shall be provided by the contractor ).
15 mm thick cement plaster to all brick / concrete works etc. in walls of
surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand) including
scaffolding , backing the surface , smoothen finishing to correct line
8 level, plumb as required, curing loading, unloading, transportation of
materials from stock yard to work site etc. complete at all levels etc.
complete as per drawing , specification and instruction of the Engineer-
incharge.
Same as item no. 9 above, but with a floating coat of neat cement
9 punning including rounding off junction with floor at any height.
Laying RCC 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 sand :4 aggregate) in all foundation
plinth level using 20 mm nominal size in foundation, column, footings
bases pump foundation , wall etc. including pocketing , grouting,
mixing , placing in position compacting curing , loading, unloading
10 transpotation of meterials, from stock yard to work site, dewatering
( excluding the coast steel re-in-forcment which will be paid separetly )
etc. All complete as per specification and drawing or as directed by
Engineer-in-charge.
Same as item no. 11 above but RCC with 1: 1 1/2 : 3 (M 20) (1

cement : 1 1/2 sand : 3 aggregate).
Laying RCC 1:2:4 in super structure at any level (1 cement : 2 sand : 4
graded stone aggregate) using 20 mm nominal size including mixing,
placing in position, compacting in columns, floors, roofs, lintels,
12 beams, slabs, etc. and including prepairing of the top surface,
finishing , curing materials from stock yard to work site all complete as
per drawing and specification and instruction of the Engineer - in-
charge.
Waste rock boulder soiling hand packed set in regular lines , filling the
interstices with smaller stone chips appropriate size supplying and
blinding with waste rock stone girts / dust, watering and compacting
13 including sorting, screening & transporting etc. finishing to correct line,
level, gradient, camber complete as per instruction and specification of
Engineer-in-charge.
Demolishing (at any level) various grade plain cement concrete in
foundation, floor etc. and disposal of material and boulder within 3 km
14 lead by department dumper including stacking serviceable materials at
site as per instruction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Demolishing various grade reinforced cement concrete in all foundation
and super structure including stacking of steel bars, scaffolding etc.
15 complete as per instruction of the Engineer - in -charge. And disposal
of above materials up to 3 km lead by department dumper/truck.
Demolishing brick work in various proportion of various thickness
including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable
16 material within 3 km lead by department dumper including scaffolding
complete as per instruction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Removing debris from various sites inside Mill mixed with industrial
waste, slurry, surplus earth, brick, bat , concrete lumps, lime waste
17 empty lime bag , brushwood etc. within 3 km lead by department
dumper etc. complete as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge. (20%
voids will be deducted from truck / dumper measurement).
Surface dressing of ground including removing vegetation and or un-
18 equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish lead upto
2 km lead. By departmental vehicle
Cutting and removing bituminous road resting on water bound
19 macadam and boulder soling up to ground level and removing all
debries by department dumper up to 2 km lead.
Repairing with hot bitumen and felt or replacement of any sizes
corrugated Trafford sheets including sizing and fixing on roof at any
height of the building in Mill area including scaffolding and removing
20 the damage existing sheet etc. all complete as per instruction of Engg-
in-charge. ( New /old A.C.Sheets, 8 mm dia G.I. ‘L’ or ‘J’ hook washer
etc. will be available free of cost )
Laying of armored telephone cable one or more in a same trench by
excavating trench in all type of soil of 400 mm width and 750 mm
depth including protecting the cable by laying of bricks both side of the
21 cable and filling the sand in between the bricks including laying one
layer of bricks over the sand filling the trenches with available
excavated earth, ramming and dressing complete or as directed by
Engineerin-charge
Laying of armored telephone cable one or more in a same trench by
excavating trench in all type of soil of 400 mm width and 750 mm
depth including protecting the cable by laying of bricks both side of the
22 cable and filling the sand in between the bricks including laying one
layer of bricks over the sand filling the trenches with available
excavated earth, ramming and dressing complete or as directed by
Engineerin-charge
Cleaning of running open drain and cover drain by excavating/digging
the settled solids (silt tailings or any waste materials) up to bottom of
drain and keeping it away from the drain , including removing and re-
23 fixing the drain cover. After drying disposal the excavated material
within 2.00 km including loading and unloading (truck / dumper
provided by UCIL, Free of cost.).
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in plinth, trenches,
sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth,
consoliding each deposited layer by ramming (allow for breacking up
24 lumps, shrinkage etc.) watering lead up to 50 meter and lift up to 50
meter complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning of
25 surface for plaster, scaffolding etc. at all height including disposal of
rubbish etc. by department vehicle up to 1.0 km lead complete.
Cutting and making hole in round/square to brick works at all heights
including grouting the same with concrete, scaffolding, line, level,
curing, labour etc. all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-

Laying hoisting and fixing of any size and thickness precast
reinforcement cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone
aggregate) of post, slab beam, sleeper, drain cover at any height
including necessary loading , unloading and transportation of material
27 from stock yard to work site curing etc. all complete finishing the
exposed surface with cement mortar 1:3 (cement : 3 sand) complete as
per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (5.15)
Repairing and fixing the barbed wire fencing with RCC post and angle
iron post over Mill boundary wall with ten rows(both side) etc. all
complete around the tailings pond area, WTP, Barrage and Mill area
height up to 3 m from ground level. All material will be supplied by
28 UCIL free of cost but transporting of material from civil Mill
godown/slime dam store to working site to be arranged by the

Grouting M.S. Bolt with cement concrete in R.C.C. foundation
29 including making hole, chipping, etc. all complete.
Daily or as and when required maintenance of plumbling, Sanitation,
Sweeping, Cleaning and Misc. Civil works such as dry sweeping
followed by washing throughly with water/wet cleaning with solutions
of Disinfections etc. received from sweeping/cleaning of entire floor of
site office and surrounding roads, including cleaning of Toilets Twice
daily, Dust bin, road bin, roads, drain cleaning , tree branches cutting,
Earth work , repairing fire hydrant, road repairing, painting,
Demolishing of concrete and Bricks work, Bush cutting, fixing of
Old/New G.I. or M.S. Pipes and sanitary accessories like wash basin,
sink, W.C. Pan, Urinal pan, cistern, valve, Taps etc. in whole Mill area
30 approximate 35 Acre per day for 306 days excluding Sundays and
Holidays in " G " Shift or A/B/C Shift as directed by the Engineer-
incharge. Note :- Minimum One No. Plumber ( Skilled ) , One
No.A.C.Sheet fitter/ Rigger/Welder ( Skilled ) and Seven (07) nos.
unskilled labour / sweeper ( Total Nine Nos. ) or as directed by the
Engineer-in-charge is required to cover the 35 Acre area per day. All
materials will be supplied by the department but Tools & Tackles have
to be arranged by the Contractor.
Hire and labour charges for providing and fixing straight shuttering for
concrete works to anywhere at any level (Including staging) including
strutting, providing etc. for all type of works. And removing of form or
31 striking out after completion of works as directed and specified by the
Engineer-in-charge. (All materials will have to be arrange by the
Contractor).
Supplying and Fixing A.C. Everest make or equivalent 6mm thick
corrugated sheets roofing and fixing with polymer coated / G.I.’J’ or
‘L’ hooks, bolts & nuts 8mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers at all
32 heights including seaffolding etc. complete as per specification &
direction of the Engg-incharge. ( All materials will have to be arrange

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticied rigid PVC Rain Water
Pipe conforming to IS : 13592 type – A including clampling , bolting ,
welding , scaffolding etc. as required jointing with seal ring conforming
to IS : 5382 leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion , including
providing bend , tee , shoe, coupler etc. all complete from roof level to
ground level.Make : Fenolex / Supreme / Swastik.

Providing and fixing Godrej make new seats & back for old Godrej
chair of various size complete as per specification & direction of the

Supplying and laying protective/mastic lining over floors and walls two
coats of appropriate primer salikote type-32 STP make followed by
laying 20mm thick (av) mastic lining as per given specification –
mixing ratio (per m2). 1. Bitumen 85/25 grade – 2Kg , IS:702 2.
Bitumen 90/15 grade – 1 Kg 3. Silicon Powder – 5 Kgs. 4. Stone Chips
6mm down --- 4 Kg. And applying 90/15 grade bitumen 2mm thick
41 over mastic lining for smooth surface as per direction of Engg-in-
charge. Including cleaning , drying the surface , removing the loose and

Supplying and laying acid resistant tiles in floor , wall , skirting , dado
with 38 mm / 40 mm thick at various elevation including preparation of
acid proof mastics bed base , laying of tiles jointing with acid resistant
mortar ( Silicate cement and solution in a ration 1 : 2 by weight ) ,
Primer painting etc. with all materials complete to combat corrosion
and resist sulphuric acid (98 %) including 12 mm thick mastic base

similar type special primer laid over bedding of cement powder SK and
solution or similar type as per I.S. specification including pointing acid
