firm determine if the niche market. It identified during feasibility analysis is favorable for a
new firm. There are mainly two components of industry /Target market feasibility analysis;
1. Industry attractiveness
2. Target market attractiveness

Industry attractiveness for Gufi Chips;

 Snacks industry younger then old it means industry growing not mature and going to
decline.

Reference: (http://tribune.com.pk/story/493197/food-and-beverages-pakistan-among-
pepsicos-top-10-non-us-markets/)

 You can see that product late in their life cycle in snacks industry as compared to other
industries.
 Snacks industry is fragmented rather than concentrated, you can see that in potato
chips Lays and Oye Hoye compete with each other.
 Snacks industry not crowded as compared to other industries like in beverages a lot of
companies compete each other.
 Snacks industry not highly dependent on low prices of raw material you can see that.
When potato or gasoline was so costly at that time Lays offer 15gm at 10 Rs. Which is
still today.
 Now a days you can see that inputs cost going down like potato price continuously
decrease and also banana is so lower price.
