STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR ATTENDANCE
1. PURPOSE: to lay down the rules pertaining to working hours and marking attendance.
Employees’ are required to follow this policy as company places a high importance to
punctuality and discipline at Novus Green Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd.
2. SCOPE: This procedure applies to all employees i.e. probationers and permanent nature and
also the trainees across the branches.
3. POLICY & PROCEDURE:
Office Timings
At Novus Green Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd, company business starts from10.00 AM to 6.30 PM
with a lunch break at 1:00 p.m. To 2:00 p.m. Sunday is a weekly off with exceptions to few
departments to be present as per the business requirement such as operations, support and
delivery
Attendance:
1. Employees should mark their attendance in the attendance register kept at the reception by
“signing-in” and “signing-out” timings in the register and also enter in Movement register in
case employee going out of the office within business hours of work either of business or
personal purposes.
2. All Employees are expected to be disciplined and reach office by 10.00 AM.
3. An employee coming to office after 10.30 AM are marked as LATE and:-

a. Late of 3 days up to 10.30 AM are allowed in a month, and in case employee comes
late more than 3 times then for each late comings ½ day’s leaves/salary to the credit
of the employee shall be deducted.
b. Late beyond 10.30 AM up to 11.00 AM is allowed only ONCE in a month Any
employee coming late for more than one day in a month after 10.30 AM but before
11.00 AM shall loose ½ day leave/salary.
c. Late beyond 11.00 AM, will be marked LATE for the day and his ½ day’s leave/salary
shall be deducted. Regular late coming will reflect on the appraisal/ review of the
employee’s performance Appraisal.
4. Employees are advised to plan their work & its time allocation to finish their work within
office timings. Employees are encouraged to come and leave office on time.
5. The purpose of framing the above rules is not to deduct leave entitlement of an employee
but to encourage discipline in the company.
6. Any employee on leave should complete his LEAVE Application and forward to the HR
department through his Reporting Officer / HOD.
7. Attendance register will be reviewed by the HR periodically in order to process the payroll
for the employees of Novus Greeen.
8. It is clear that the company follows “NO WORK NO PAY”. Therefore any unauthorized
absence would result in loss of wages for particular days.
9. It should be clearly understood that the responsibility of completing the attendance lies with
the employee only.
