Focus of external communication

Communications are one way to shape and define a corporation's image to the community, clients,
and potential investors. External communications such as newsletters, media stories and press
releases let the public know about the company workplace, philanthropic and environmental efforts.

Few main goals of external communication are as described below.

Marketing
Marketing of new products price changing especially companies external communication. Marketing in
crisis occurs between the organization and customer through information lack to fill this lack and convey
the message to customer companies use external communication.External communication is also
helpful for motivating the customers and keep them loyal with the company.

Image building
Through external communication an organization can establish its image, workplace culture to
its stakeholders through different communication mediums like newsletters
Reach new customers
I guess one other focus of a company’s external communication should ne to reach new customers and
provide value. For this purpose, Internet has become a valued resource in reaching new customers.
Companies create websites to let people know of upcoming products and services. Social media such
as Facebook and blogs are an easy way to reach target demographics and are a cost-effective means
of promotion.
