L6 - Summary of Field Lay Out Requirements

The document outlines requirements for laying out offshore oil and gas facilities, including: - Positioning of subsea facilities and wells based on systems design, weather conditions, seabed features, and existing infrastructure. - Placement of permanent mooring lines for floating production facilities and temporary moorings for workover rigs. - Trajectories of wells and reservoir targets. - Locations for supply boat movements and offloading. - Consideration of future installation and removal tasks.

USING DRILLING RIG
LIGHTWEIGHT WELL WORKOVER
To date, well intervention conducted from ship-shaped vessels has, almost
exclusively, been limited to ‘light’ intervention using wireline.

Wireline provides the capability of deploying tool strings into the wellbore on wire.
These tool strings can carry out mechanical functions, carry data acquisition tooling
or undertake operations such as perforating the wellbore to increase production.

In addition, tractors can be employed as part of the

tool string providing an anchor to allow milling to
be performed restoring wellbore cross-section and
thus production.

THESE MAY USE A LIGHTWEIGHT VESSEL WITH

WIRELINE OR COILED TUBE.
