Hello, my name is Ally Bennett, and I am a freshman at the University of Purdue.

Currently my major is undecided, however I am interested in pursuing a career in law.

During high school, I got the chance to participate in many debates. I loved the

challenge they brought, forcing me to always be prepared and react on the spot with a

rebuttal to overrule my opponents’ statements. Therefore, I am interested in learning

about all aspects of law and what it takes to become a successful lawyer. I enjoy

working and interacting with others and thrive in competitive environments. One of my

main motivators is competition, I want to always be strategically thinking of ways to

attract clients and stand out against my competitors. Additionally, I want to make a

difference by helping other people, when they necessarily cannot help themselves.

Growing up, I have always had a passion for helping others fix their problems by being

able to serve as a support system for them. Therefore, I am interested in an internship

opportunity at this law firm, so that I can get an inside look, gain new experience, and

learn the ropes of a career in law.
