Virtual Lesson #3
Reading theory references form original sources

My dear students,

I think that it’s time for you to start exploring grammar books. I’d like you to
download at least three. Of course, you can download more if you want, but in my
humble opinion, these three ones are the best.

Following this link https://epdf.pub/queue/longman-student-grammar-of-spoken-

and-written-english.html, you can get two of the three books. It’s a safe page and
you can get the books totally free.

The first one is Longman Student Grammar of Spoken and Written English and
the other one is Fundaments of English Grammar

In the same page, you’ll find these other two: Longman English Grammar and
Longman English Grammar Practice (I used them when I was a student like you
) the first one contains all the grammar reference and the other one, just brief
notes of theory reference and a lot of activities to practice. As they are pretty old,
they don’t make any reference to new approaches of grammar teaching. But if you
want, feel free to download them.
